  1. Think one hole in one is hard? The odds of making two hole-in-one shot is a mere 1 in 64 million. Wildly, this feat has been accomplished by Oakland University golfer Kassandra Komma.
  2. Speaking of hole in one’s, Tiger Woods was 8 years old when he knocked in his first ever hole-in-one.
  3. However, you may not be quite as good as Tiger Woods. In that event, the chance of an average golfer making a hole in one is around 12,500 to 1.
  4. The 4 major tournaments combine to what is called the grand slam. While many have gotten close, not a single golfer has ever won all 4 tournaments in one year.
  5. The lowest scoring round of golf in a PGA tournament was a 58, shot by Jim Furyk in 2016.
  6. Don’t be disappointed if you have a high numbered handicap, you’re not alone. Roughly 20% of golfers have a handicap less than 18, so keep hacking away!
